Program is a javascripted / applet multimedia program
Can be loaded onto computer as standalone product, or online
Project: student uses clay animation to demonstrate cell mitosis
second example: showcase of Jessica's portfolio
Have videoblender software product to bring in movies, add sound, embed video you have created right into mediablender
Use imageblender software to manipulate images to create a collage
starts with blank white screen (like HyperStudio) so students have to use some creativity to design layout
Text box looks a lot like HyperStudio
- import objects like graphics
Navigation between slides is easy on toolbar
Media can be saved in local version, can check a box to compile everything onto the server when you save it
You can also save media directly to the network server
menus very similar to HyperStudio
Allows multistate buttons (rollovers)
Are not any Wizards built in (like in PPT)
- they are in constant development, email them and share input for what you think should be included
Can choose SAVE AS WEB READY when you save (to FTP site)
- has built in FTP
Will work with quicktime, windows media, real files
