My name is Autumn, and I'm a junior English-Secondary Education major at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX.  This site includes some of my various interests and a little snippet of the projects we've done in the education department at Texas Tech.

Life Prior to Texas Tech:

I grew up in Nocona, TX.  For those of you who aren't familiar with the thriving metropolis of Nocona, it is 45 minutes east of Wichita Falls.  It is a small Metropolis of 3000 people.  I graduated from Nocona High School in 2001-home of the Indians!!! 

My family still lives there-well, my mom and dad still live there.  Look them up if you're ever passing through Montague County.  They still go by Don and Danell Hughes last I heard!!  Just kidding padres. 

My lovely sister Amber Hughes is 22 and a Senior at UT Arlington.  I still love her despite the fact that she isn't a Red Raider because she gives me a reason to come to Dallas, and she is amazing!!!  I love her!   

I love Jesus, and my # 1 desire is to glorify him in all that I do.
