GRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANTSHIP AVAILABLE
A Graduate Research Assistantship for a student seeking either a Master's or Ph.D. degree is available in the Department of Plant and Soil Science at Texas Tech University (Lubbock, Texas). The supported research involves using mechanistic crop growth simulation models (DSSAT and Cotton2K) in assessing the impact of climate and management practices on crop yield and farm revenue. It is preferred that the candidate for this assistantship have knowledge and experience in using mechanistic crop growth simulation models and skills in computer programming.
